Take a guided tour up the Northeast’s highest peak and hear stories and history about places along the Auto Road as you go. Tours are an hour and a half long, and reservations are not accepted. In the winter, you can take a trip up the mountain on the SnowCoach, a vehicle outfitted with a 4-track system to carry passengers through the snow. If you want to drive yourself, you can listen to an audio-tour on a CD.
