This grand new construction in the heart of The Canyons’ village opened in July with 201 rooms and suites plus a 16,000-square-foot Golden Door Spa. The guest quarters—standard hotel rooms through six-bedroom suites—each have a fireplace, HDTV and steam shower, and each suite has a kitchen with Viking appliances and granite counters. San Francisco–based Spruce Restaurant opened a satellite location here, where chef Mark Sullivan carries on the franchise’s expertise in seasonal contemporary American cuisine. And with a location so key—ski-in/ski-out via the new Frostwood Gondola—Dakota guests will want for little.
