Back for it’s third year, the highlight for the 2010 Wild Wild West Weekend at High Camp Corral is a shootout at the brand new mountaintop paintball corral. Challenge your friends and family to a match at 8,000 feet.
Another new addition this year is live music on both days of the event. The music will be country-inspired folk performed by Pete Charles and Son on Saturday, and Uncle Rico on Sunday.
Enjoy a two full days of pony rides, square dancing, face painting a barbeque lunch and dinner, and cowboy poetry and storytelling. Cowboy lyricist Larry Maurice will lead the readings. Sierra Stars Square Dancing will lead the hoe down dancing.
All activities are free with a cable car ticket, except for the paintball, which will be the regular price of $29 for adults and $24 for kids. The barbeque meal is $13 to $17.
“We hope that visitors and locals alike will kick up their boots and mosey up to High Camp for western antics in an amazing setting,” Squaw Valley USA Marketing Manager Sean Kristl says.
