Attitash

When new owners took over Attitash two years ago, they admitted no big changes were coming—though important ones were. Skiers felt the love last winter, when a slew of new fan guns were added at key locations. Service was also made a priority. The resort’s two peaks combine to offer a diversity of experiences. As one reader says, “The blend of old and new makes it appealing.” Readers still grouse about the fixed-grip triple. On the other hand, long liftlines are rare. For now, the triple stays, and good snow awaits you each run.

/ What’s New / Renewed focus on the terrain parks, including the addition of “introductory hits” to lure newbies

/ Don’t Miss / Spring afternoons on the base lodge deck—classic sunny fun set to rowdy live music

/ Mandatory Run /  Ptarmigan, with its improved snowmaking and gasp-worthy views of nearby Mt. Washington
