Boulder, CO, Dec. 9, 2003 --The slow moving blizzard that dumped record snows over the Northeast this weekend brought a powder bonus to New England skiers. Resorts in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine reported snowfalls between 13-30 inches.
Skiers broke in newly-opened trails and swam in powder that blew into hip-deep drifts. This storm boosted the base levels to between 40-50 inches, and a cold forecast should set skiers up for excellent conditions this weekend.
