Sure, ski-town shopping brings with it the opportunity to stock up on T-shirts bearing slogans such as "I'm running out of sick days, so I'm calling in dead. But you could take home something a little more, well, original. We've scoured resort towns for the best souvenirs—be they home décor or just ski-centric eye candy. Here's where to spend your dough off the slopes.

ASPEN, COLO.
Buy A pair of Lund Imperial skis from 1960: red plastic laminate over wood, 74 inches long, unmounted, in very good condition
Why Vintage skis look great hanging anywhere, but pristine examples are getting harder to find.

Also consider Vintage ski boots and poles, as well as racing bibs and pennants, such as a circa-1958 White Stag race bib—ubiquitous at ski competitions during that era

FRANCONIA, N.H.

Also consider The museum's reproduction posters of Cannon, Sugarloaf and Mad River Glen, among other resorts, which recall skiing's heyday and make great ski-condo artwork

VAIL, COLO.

Also consider The Megeve Bench, covered in faux marmot and made with naturally shed antlers—a truly unique piece for the house. The antler-shaped Gstaad silver-plated candelabra is another accent item that can lend ambience to a room.[NEXT]ALTA, UTAH
Buy Ray Atkeson black-and-white photos of Alta from the 1930s through the '50s. These are digital reproductions made from the original negatives, and they come matted.
Why Atkeson was one of the greatest ski photographers ever, and Alta is America's most photogenic powder paradise. A dream team.
Cost 11-x-14-inch prints are $80; 16-x-20-inch prints are $120.
Source The Alta Store, inside the Snowpine Lodge; 801-674-3800; thealtastore.com
Also consider A hand-painted Alta wastebasket, which adds character and class to collecting the trash

EDWARDS, COLO.
