Ski areas in West Virginia and Pennsylvania did pretty well in terms of snowfall last season.
This season could be the one mid Atlanticers have been waiting for as Lake Effect snow will hit regions of western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Warmer than normal temperatures will reign over the region for most of the winter with sporadic episodes of cool Arctic air making an appearance. If cool tem, West Virginia and western Pennsylvania should receive an ample amount of snow.
