Denver, CO, Dec. 9, 2003 (CSCUSA)--A snowstorm nailed the Colorado mountains overnight bringing over a foot of new snow to some resorts.
Steamboat received 19 inches of new snow in the last 48 hours and 14 inches in the last 24 hours according to today's 2 pm snow report .
Over in Snowmass, the storm dumped 14 inches on while Aspen Mountain has received 11 inches in the last 48 hours. Loveland and Silverton Mountain have seen 10 inches in the last 48 hours. Durango Mountain Resort, Telluride and Vail each got seven inches in 48 hours while Copper Mountain and Powderhorn got six inches, and Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Sunlight saw five inches.
As of Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, Colorado will be 100 percent open for business with the remaining five resorts opening their slopes.
