You might think a week of skiing with your family at Telluride would be expensive, but it's not compared to a week at Disney World. Here's a rough comparison of a six-day trip to each:

ALL-INCLUSIVE LODGING AND ACTIVITIES
Disney Six nights in a single room with two Queen beds at the Yacht Club, including four all-access all park tickets for entire stay: $3,220
Telluride Six nights in a two-bedroom, two-bath condo, including four five-day all-mountain lift tickets: $2,262

ACTIVITIES, À LA CARTE
Disney One-day all-access pass: $60 each
Telluride One-day all-lift pass: $62 adult, $35 junior

MEALS (FOR FOUR)
Disney Casual, quick lunch: Four cheeseburgers, four fries and four sodas (at quick stop site such as Pinocchio Village Haus in Magic Kingdom): $41
Telluride Slopeside quick lunch: about the same: $38
Disney Dinner at Mitsukoshi Teppanyaki Japanese Restaurant in Epcot: $136
Telluride Dinner at Honga's Lotus Petal: $81

TOTAL COST (SIX DAYS, ALL-INCLUSIVE)
Disney $4,282
Telluride $2,976
