Stevens Pass got its start about 70 years ago and has grown steadily from a one rope operation to one of the major resorts in the Northeast sporting 10 lifts, 37 named runs, 1,125 acres of terrain, a 1,800 foot vertical and an average snowfall of about 450 inches. All this is a mere 78 miles from Seattle and smack-dab in the middle of the Mt. Bake-Snoqualmie and Wenatchee national forests making this a beautiful and easy to get to, winter retreat. With quick-service and full-service restaurants, on-site ski shops, lodging nearby, night skiing and other winter activities available it's no wonder Stevens Pass is such a popular area.
