KEYSTONE, Colo. August 16, 2004 — Keystone Resort's Wine, Jazz and Art Festival is your chance to feel sophisticated in a rustic Rocky Mountain setting. The weekend affair showcases more than 300 award-winning wines from around the world. Besides the hundreds of wines to sample, top culinary experts skilled in cooking and wine pairing will be on hand for food and wine seminars. Enjoy the smooth sounds of live jazz on the main stage. Walk through River Run Events Plaza where the fine art show represents talent from Colorado and beyond.

On Friday evening, prepare to laugh when Kevin Fitzgerald, star of Discovery Channel's Animal Planet, shares the stage with comedian Bryan Kellen for a special performance "Sushi, Sake and a Show.

"We've planned two full days at the Wine, Jazz and Art Festival this year, said Elizabeth Tobias, special events manager for Keystone Resort. "Visitors won't want to miss the incredible cooking classes and wine seminars that take place all weekend, the comedy performance on Friday night, or the Cowboy Junkies at the Park Lane Pavilion on Saturday evening.

In its seventh year at Keystone Resort, this year's Wine, Jazz and Art Festival will feature the sounds of nationally known jazz acts including Nelson Rangell, the Manuel Molina Latin Jazz Trio, and Dotsero, one of the hottest contemporary jazz ensembles on today's music scene. Fine artists will arrive at Keystone from around the state and the nation to present their works. There will be a silent auction both days of the festival, with proceeds benefiting The Keystone Center, Summit County Arts Exhibit Committee, Art Institute of Colorado Culinary Arts Program, Lake Dillon Preschool and Early Learning Center, and the Keystone Culinary Apprenticeship Program.

Admission to the festival including art viewing and main stage jazz performances is free. Wine tasting for one day is $25 per person and $40 for two people. For both days, the price is $40 per person or $70 for two people. The wine and culinary seminars are free for all tasting customers. Seating is limited and based on a first-come first-serve basis. Paid wine tasters can sign up at the Park Lane Pavilion on the day of the seminar. For those not purchasing wine tasting, seminars are $10 per seminar, per person.

Tickets for Friday night'sperformance "Sushi, Sake and a Show are $30 for reserved seating and $22 for general admission. General admission tickets may also be purchased at the door for $25. Tickets for the Cowboy Junkies are $18 for general admission advance tickets, $22 for general admission tickets at the door, and $25 for reserved seating (advance or at the door).
