Copper Mountain, Colorado, recently hosted the Red Bull 1976 Games, in memory of when Denver was awarded the 1976 Olympic bid, but then activists and politicians campaigned against it and the Games moved to Innsbruck, Austria. Retro skiers dressed in bell bottoms and stretch pants competed in a snowbladecross and an old school air contest, throwing daffys, backscratchers, and the first-ever double-tandem-big-air jump.
