9 am: Begin your girls-only adventure at Snow Park Lodge to fuel up on made-to-order omelets and vanilla lattes from the espresso bar. Board Carpenter Express and head to Little Baldy for some early-morning laps in the sun. Alternate between Mountaineer Express, which replaced the Deer Crest fixed-grip chairlift, and the Jordanelle Gondola for groomers that go on and on.

Attention adrenaline-seeking guests: If you haven’t experienced the unique Utah Interconnect Adventure Tour, here’s your chance. The all-day guided excursions takes place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and take skiers through the backcountry between Deer Valley, Park City Mountain Resort, Brighton, Solitude, Alta, and Snowbird.

Freestylers Bryon and Brad Wilson love tearing up the mogul runs at Deer Valley, especially Champion ski run, the site of FIS World Cup freestyle course. But they also love exploring the rest of the resort. Like most skiers, these mogul-bashing brothers appreciate terrain diversity, and they find it here at Deer Valley.

“The bowls here are underrated,” says Bryon (pictured, on the right), 27 and now in his 10th year on the U.S. Ski Team.  “And there’s great tree skiing all over the mountain.”

It’s baaaaack! The 24th annual Celebrity SkiFest hits the slopes the first weekend of December, the official sign that ski season has arrived. The year’s festivities kick off on Friday, Dec. 4 when the celebrities gather at The Montage for a charity poker tournament. They better not stay out too late: Saturday’s giant slalom starts bright and early on the Bird’s-Eye trail, pitting seasoned athletes against eager celebs.
