CALGARY, AB April 20, 2004 — The Wintergreen Golf and Country Club will be opening its fairways to the public on April 23, 2004. This Championship Alpine Course features over 100 feet of vertical relief and gentle rolling terrain, nestled in the mountain backdrop of the Kananaskis Foothills. Wintergreen is a challenge for both the low handicapper and novice. Four sets of tees for each of the 18 holes on this par 72 course ensure that there is enough variety to provide a satisfying round for all golfers. Wintergreen will have a newly improved driving range for the 2004 golf season, with a state of the art hitting surface used at many Tournament Player Courses (TPC) in the United States. In addition, this impressive practice facility includes a putting green, chipping green and sand traps. Also, new to the course this year is the re-building of the 2nd green which is scheduled to open May 1, 2004.
