I hope Snowshoe futhur embarasses this guy by refusing to settle. Baring inproperly maintained equipment or intentioanlly leaving trail hazards unmarked after they have been reported, the ski area should have legal immumity from these kinds of frivously lawsuits. NH passed an expanded immunity law a couple years back and the trial lawyers howling was hilarious. At least in NH the trial lawyer actually has to have some kind of provable case before he can bring suit. Too bad W.Va. lacks that common sense law.
