- Yes, 2 weeks ago I stopped at Barnes & Noble, they had Buyers Guides from Ski, Powder, Ski Canada, and Skiing-- which was not mailed to subscribers--see their website, something about too much postage because they're not a monthly print mag anymore.
- yeah roamer38, I saw the thread, I had to get in my annoyance with what's been going on. Try your ski shop or bookstore for a magazine, or your library may have a copy. I just renewed my subscriptions to Ski and Skiing last year so now I have like a 5 year subscription to Ski. I guess my 2 year renewal for Skiing didn't qualify for a transfer to the online magazine. Skiing put out a buyers guide that's now on the newstand, but it seems it wasn't sent out to subscribers either.
I'm an aggressive female, all-mountain skier who has skied on men's skis my whole life. Is it time to switch to women's specific? Will they hold up and deliver? I'm not a wuss, and I don't want a wussy ski!from Vbarb 5 years 36 weeks agoTry a pair, demo if you're hesitant. I've skied on men's skis for over 20 years and last season I got a pair of women-specific Atomics I LOVE! Light, smooth, effortless, and fast! I would have never picked them for myself. You can always sell them if you don't like 'em but I think you'll be surprised at how well they perform. Definitely not wussy.
