Deer Valley

I am lucky enough to ski any resort I choose. I find myself returning to Deer Valley more and more. I consider myself an expert skier (among the top Nastar racer in my age group.) Unless you ski there and know the resort well, dont knock it. It is 20 steps from the shuttle van to the Gondola, and never a line. The best areas are served by high speed lifts, the best powder isnt skied (the clientele stick to the groomers) There are cornices, chutes and cliffs I dare any youngster to follow me. The steep groomers are THE best. So what if it is a country club atmosphere, does that hurt the experience? A good lunch on china on a clean table for the same as a hot dog on a paper plate at Vail. A gentleman takes your skis and stores them for lunch or for the night, FREE. Hats off to Deer Valley, 5 years running and deserve it.
