After last weekend's events including the devastating Scott Macartney crash, http://web.wcsn.com/video/sport.jsp?id=34032&year=2008&p=2 target=_blank>(See Macartney Crash video in top right), and Bode Miller setting the new American World Cup record, this weekend's races on the FIS World Cup circuit look to make just as large of a shock. The world's best women travel to southern Germany in the "heart of Allgaeu to participate in two technical events, the slalom and the giant slalom, at the ski resort with what is considered the "longest snow machine in Germany, giving this event a 100% guarantee of snow. While the women take on the Ofterschwanger Horn World Cup course, the men stop off at one of the most famous and attractive mountain-resorts of the world. Watch LIVE as some of the world's best male skiers take on "the Kandahar, one of the greatest downhill courses alongside Wengen and Kitzbuhel, at the popular French resort of Chamonix. These races are important for both the men and women as they battle for the Holy Grail, the title of the Alpine World Cup Overall Champion, so be sure to check out these very exciting "can't miss events!
