Aspen
Dates: Opens June 17th
Trails: Daily gondola rides are provided to bikers looking to access Aspen’s 40-mile downhill trail system, which includes gentle roads to challenging single-track.
Details: Trail guides, instructional clinics, and bike rentals are all offered through the resort.

Beaver Creek
Dates: Seasonal
Trails: Beaver Creek is home to a lift-served network of trails that run on and around the mountain, varying in length and skill-level.
Details: The Beav is very strict with their policies involving the bike park. Be sure that you are aware of their guidelines, available on their website, before riding.

Dates: Opens June 17th : Weekends only

Durango Mountain Resort
Dates: Currently open on weekends, Opens daily June 10th
Trails: For eight bucks, take your bike with you to the top and access over 50 miles of trails ranging from novice loops to World Cup Championship trails.
Details: Mountain bike rentals are available for both children and adults. Trail reports can be accessed from their website.

Keystone
Dates: Peak season rates and hours start June 17th
Trails: Chairlift service brings bikers to the top, where they can choose from 55 different downhill trails and over 100 miles of single-track, all varying in difficulty, length, and features.
Details: Keystone’s Bike Park, The Drop Zone, is recognized as one of the best in the nation, with its progressive features and diverse terrain. Rentals are available through Keystone Sports.

Dates: Opens June 3rd
Trails: Lift-access downhill biking offered via 6-pack chairlifts, running from the Base Camp Lodge. At the top, riders have access to world-class downhill trails, single-track, and cross-country trails.

Steamboat Springs

Trails: Scenic Steamboat operates their gondola daily in the summer, bringing riders to the Thunderhead Lodge, where they can choose from various downhill trails or single-track/cross-country trailheads.

Telluride
Dates: Weather Dependent
Trails: Free gondola rides are available all summer long for bikers, from the towns of Telluride and Mountain Village. After unloading at the mid station, riders have access to numerous routes of descent, as well as single-track loops.
Details: Coming into its own as a world-class downhill destination, Telluride will also be a stop on the Mountain States Cup Championship Series this summer

Vail
Dates: Opens daily on June 23rd
Trails: Single-track and cross-country loops, 4x4 roads, and downhill trails are all available from the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola. Or — if you’re ready to take on an intense climb, you can access some of these trails for free via the trail network in Lionshead Village.
Details: Though the gondola is scheduled to open for weekends in June, it is unlikely that the resort will permit biking, due to their existing five-foot base.

Winter Park
Dates: Opens June 11th
Trails: Trestle Bike Park at Winter Park Resort will be running three chairlifts on weekends so riders will never have to wait in line to get lifted. Up top, they will be able to choose from a variety of single-track and downhill trails, as well as a skills park.
Details: Instructional clinics, bike and equipment rentals, and summer camps are all offered through the park.
