Update: Skiing in Jackson is fun. Especially with family. Don't believe me? Follow my updates here.
It just won't stop nuking in Jackson. In fact, the resort exceeded 500 inches of snowfall— that's nearly twice what the resort boasted last season at this time. The resort also just reported a 24-hour snowfall total of 29 inches, the highest in 25 years.
I'm headed up this weekend to check out Mountain Fest, a weekend-long party that includes the Pole Pedal Paddle race, The Marmot Coombs Classic, and—the part of I'm really pumped about—Katchafire, a killer reggae band from New Zealand. I'll be uploading pictures and reports from Mountain Fest, so stay tuned.
Better yet, come yourself. There's still time. The best deal is called "Lift, Lodging, and Lunch," and offers exactly that for $99 per person per night. Click here for details.
See you there?
