MADONNA DI CAMPIGLIO, Italy, Dec. 20, 2003 (AP) -- Nathan Roberts of the United States won a World Cup moguls event Saturday, sending Olympic champion Janne Lahtela of Finland to his first loss this season.
Norway's Kari Traa won the women's moguls, beating Shannon Bahrke of the United States.
Roberts finished with 25.42 points, with Lahtela at 25.38. Two other Americans, Trvis Cabral and Ryan Riley, placed third and fourth.
With two wins and one second, Lahtela leads the moguls standings with 280 points. Roberts is second (145), ahead of teammate Jeremy Bloom (142).
Traa defeated Bahrke of the United States 25.03 to 24.50 points. Canada's Stephanie St. Pierre placed third.
Traa, with two wins and one fourth, is first in the women's standings with 250 points. Canada's Jennifer Heil is second at 225 and Bahrke is third at 205.
