Every now and then something hits the internet that reminds us why we do what we do. This is one of those things. Enjoy, and get psyched for winter.

Ian Provo, Salt Lake City-based photographer and POV-magician, released this edit to get people thoroughly excited for the impending season of snow. Here's what he had to say about the day:

A classic late season storm was pounding the Wasatch mountains, leaving behind a bottomless blanket of deep blower pow. Just a few ridgelines over, Little Cottonwood Canyon was shut down due to the danger of such a heavy snowfall. A few lucky folks and I spent the day blazing through the untouched aspen groves with feathery snow blowing over our shoulders on every turn. It was probably one of the best powder days I've ever had (and I say that a lot). Filmed on 4/6/10 at The Canyons resort in Park City, Utah.
