This week Warren Miller’s Dynasty premiered in Boulder, Colorado. This year is their 60th anniversary, imagine that—60 years. That’s 1,200 minutes of skiing at hundreds of different locations all over the world. It is the history and legacy of Warren Miller that intrigues me most. This year's film has a ton of mouth-watering archival footage. Sure, I love to watch people send 80-foot cliffs and slide 30-foot rails but, there is something about those neon hot-doggers that really stokes me out. They were cool when cool was new. Whatever your looking for this year, Dynasty has it. Editor Kim Schneider did a killer job blending the old school and new school. From Alaska to western China to the Midwest, from black and white to HD, Dynasty is one of the most complete ski movies of the year—with a pretty killer soundtrack.
