Finally, a mitten with a built-in beer koozie.
Sometimes you can combine two existing things to make a new, crazy-unique product—like if you take a boring, old blanket and add sleeves. Boom! Slanket! That’s kind of what Burton is going for with its new Vice Mitt. These $70 hand sleeves combine your basic leather mitten with a beer koozie. Burton’s website says its “right palm rocks a zip-out insulated beverage koozie to keep that energy juice in check.” But c’mon, Burton. Who do you think you’re fooling? That thing ain’t for energy drinks. That’s for insulating your barley pop. We're just as likely to use it tailgating as we are on the mountain. The Vice Mitts also have a discrete “stash pocket.” We have no idea what you’re supposed to put in that. —Scott Gornall
