the jax hole picture is what it's all about. you can tell the skier is really going all out. all you basically see is the hat and ghost guy under it. the photo is totally breathless. looks like it was a great ski day.

Great photos. One, though,

Great photos. One, though, really showed a powder experience I could feel. Many looked like a collaboration between skier and photographer to show the deepest powder shots. I chose one that depicts the quiet loneliness of deep powder in a forest, where the skier is a brief visitor.

I based my vote upon the

I based my vote upon the uniqueness of the photo. Although powder shots are some of the best, they don't allow for a whole lot of variety except the person being shot. Therefore, I chose the one that shows the extremes we pow pows will go to get the job done! All great photos btw!

All these photos are great, but as an alpine instructor I chose the 5 best photos that exemplify proper hand positions, stance, balance, directional movements, and body positioning. These skiers rock!
