No Child Left Behind
After winning a contest sponsored by Snowlife (a British snow-sports-promotion company), England's Willingsworth High School students arrived at school one Monday in January to find their schoolyard converted into a 110-foot-long, 25-foot-wide ski hill covered in 46 tons of manmade snow. Snowlife's educational rationale? "Skiing helps develop personal, social, and mental skills." Yeah right-just ask Leanne Lamoureux (see Best Woman to Bring...Oh, Never Mind ).
