Eat in Salt Lake City: Lone Star Taqueria

Lone Star is the perfect spot for quick and cheap Mexican after a long day on the slopes.

Tres Tacos

Located just down the road from Brighton and Solitude near the base of Big Cottonwood Canyon, Lone Star Taqueria is the perfect spot for quick and cheap Mexican after a long day on the hill. It’s a small, order from the counter kind of spot where the concentration of pro skiers is disproportionally high. The food is super fresh and authentic Mexican. You won’t find anything drenched in cheese, or smothered in too much sauce. Go with the fish tacos or the carne asada burrito and you will not be disappointed. It’s not open for breakfast or on Sundays.

2265 Fort Union Blvd, Salt Lake City, (801)944-2300.
