That's how the team from Golden, Colorado, based Fortitude Skis felt. So they started their own ski manufacturing company. This year, they're rolling out a line of three models, as well as producing custom skis. President, founder, CEO, team rider, and ski builder Nick Whittemore told us where the inspiration came from, where the company is going, and why the heck they're doing it.
