September 16 to 19th, in Montreal, Quebec, the International Freeski Film Festival kicks off. This three-day movie fest will feature the premieres of numerous American and international films, from the likes of Level 1 Productions, Nimbus Independent, and Field Productions. Concerts, outdoor screenings, and plenty of after parties will keep the energy flowing.
Judges JF Cusson, Neil Sotirakopoulos, and Guillaume Lahure, represent the best skiers, filmmakers, and journalists in the business. They’ll judge films in the Pro, Open, Amateur, and Webisode categories. Films can win awards like Best Cinematography, Best Soundtrack, Best Jib Flick, and Rookie of the Year.
Tanner Hall is hosting a party for his movie, Like a Lion. Expect reggae beats from Swiss-Caribbean sensation Cali P, and Mikey Dangerous and Biga Ranx will also be present. Ski-industry music sensation All-Star (known for his music in episodes of Salomon Freeski TV) will play the following night.
This marks the first year of the European edition of IF3, which takes place the following weekend in Annecy, France. For more info and to buy tickets, visit IF3.ca.
