A Natural Fit - What to Wear

When suiting up for snowshoeing-even in midwinter-think spring skiing. The aerobic activity should keep you plenty warm, and there's no chairlift time to cool you down. Wear multiple layers so you can peel off clothes to regulate your temperature. You'll need:

- moisture-wicking base layer (no cotton)

- lightweight fleece midlayer

- wind- and water-resistant outer layer

- sunglasses, hat, gloves and gaiters

- waterproof running shoes or hiking boots
