CW-X Insulator Stabilityx Tights (2010)
I used to be one of those people who, after a day of skiing, needed a beer or a spot in the Jacuzzi to ease the aches and pains in my legs. But after being introduced to the miracle of the CW-X Insulator Stabiltyx Tights, I get less achy and tired after a day on the snow.
They’re called compression tights. Their purpose is to promote blood circulation and oxygen flow to your muscles. They’re supposed to fit snugly for them to work, so make sure you have the right size. I like to keep these tights on an hour or so after I’m done skiing for the day in order to minimize lactic acid build-up and help me recover faster. The stability fabric that wraps around the knee, lower back, and hip area helps your ligaments and muscles band together to keep your knee joint stabilized, reducing the risk of injury.
This year, CW-X came out with this three-quarter-length pant version, so now you don’t have to worry about feeling the seams inside your ski boot. I highly recommend these for anyone who gets cold, suffers from post-skiing leg pains, or is coping with a current injury.[cw-x.com; $98]
