An awesome blend of all-day comfort and on-snow responsiveness, the S11 is predictable and powerful on firm and broken snow. Snugness comes from the liner rather than the shell, so sensitivity might decrease as the liner packs out. The ratcheting upper buckles are mindlessly easy to tighten.
Bootfitter's Take
Medium heel and ankle, high-volume instep, medium to high toe box. The liner feels padded yet firm.
