To come up with our mostly subjective list of Bests, we polled SKIING's contributors and editors as well as freeskiers and industry insiders. In some categories (skis, boots, and beer, to name a few), we spent months rigorously testing product. In other areas (like "most bitchin' lookin' shades" and "best place to shake your booty"), we simply picked the stuff or place or person we think rocks.
