CHALLENGE: Balancing in different terrain
Experts tend to ski close to the fall line and at much higher speeds than intermediate skiers. But it's easy to get caught behind and be "squashed" by the G-forces you generate. You're squashed when your center is driven toward the snow and your hips get slightly behind your feet. When this happens, you drop even lower. Your turn arc may feel fine, but it's not: Getting into the next turn is tough.
SOLUTION: Let your skis come from behind
