Denver, CO, Jan. 16, 2002--Lift tickets, meals, and parking can cost a lot of dough at Colorado destination resorts, but with the Colorado Gems Card skiers can save big. The Gems may not be as notorious as Vail or Aspen, but they can often provide less crowded and more rewarding experiences than the big mountain neighbors.
All seven Gems offer an affordable family ski atmosphere--and free parking too! The Gems include Arapahoe Basin, Loveland, Monarch, Powderhon, Ski Cooper, SolVista, and Sunlight.
To get the Gems Discount Card, register at a participating resort. Discounts vary among the ski areas. Some save you up to $10 dollars on lift tickets and others extend lodging discounts as well.
If you ski at every Gem resort and have a Discount Card, you will be entered into a drawing to win one of:
-A 2002-2003 Colorado Ski Country USA Gold Pass
-Two United Airlines Tickets
-A 1-Year Supply of Pepsi Products
-An Apres ski party at the Rock Bottom Brewery
-An Equipment Package from Colorado Ski and Golf
-Other Cool Gifts from Gems
