The movie that launched the extreme skiing movement into the mainstream. In the film, Glen Plake, Scott Schmidt, and Mike Hattrup shine a new light on skiing, one that up until Blizzard had primarily included NASTAR courses and an it-matters-more-what-you-look-like-than-how-you-ski attitude. Plake and the mohawk changed all that. In Skiing Magazine's Feb/March 2008 issue, Rob Story recounts the epic scene that changed ski films forever:


"The film's Chamonix sequence reveals Plake, Hattrup, and Schmidt nailing the Couloir Poubelle. Dropping 15 vertical feet with each turn, breathing hard and grunting into his microphone, Schmidt shreds the 50-degree, 660-vertical-foot shot before rocketing out into the apron. Then Hattrup and Plake drop in, Plake wearing a helmet-mounted camera the size of a VCR. He loses an edge, falls, and smacks into Hattrup, sending both reeling toward a crevasse at the bottom. The resulting footage makes ski-film history."


Greg Stump has since made over 12 feature ski-films, music videos, and commercials, including Legend of Aaahh's, the 20th Anniversary film reuniting the crew that changed the ski industry.
