After a weather delay on Saturday, the final event of the Freeride World Tour went off today for the 24 male skiers and snowboarders tackling Verbier's legendary Bec de Rosses. Sweden's Kaj Zackrisson won today's event, while France's Candide Thovex takes the top honors for the overall tour.

On Saturday, the women skiers and snowboarders tackled Verbier, Switzerland's Bec de Rosses to compete in the final stop of the Freeride World Tour. Norway's Ane Enderud repeated her victory from last year, Jackson Hole's Jess McMillan took second, and wild card entry Julia Mancuso, fresh off her two Olympic silver medals, took an impressive third place. It was a dramatic few days at Squaw Valley, but the big-mountain competition took place Tuesday on Silverado. The men's ski winner was Sweden's Henrik Windsted; the women's ski winner was Jackie Paaso, a Squaw local who got a wild card to compete at the event. After an aborted attempt to run the Freeride World Tour big-mountain competition on Squaw Valley's Tram Face on Sunday, blue skies and untouched snow mean the competitors are heading to Silverado today. As of this morning, the plan for the Squaw Valley stop of the Freeride World Tour was to let competitors tackle the infamous Tram Face. But then poor snow conditions led to a change of plans and today's run was can canceled. Instead, the event will move to Silverado tomorrow. Judge Tom Winter gives us the details.
