Great Gear Deals???

Anyone know of any killer online sites offering great deals on gear? I am in need of some new downhill boots this year, and don't mind spending some cash on those, but am also looking for a Cross Country set up and have a harder time spending as much on a sport I don't love nearly as much... (Hey, it's still sliding around on the snow though- hard to complain!) I'm looking for any places with good deals on equipment, but also clothing, etc...

Oh yah, I wasn't planning on buying my downhill boots online! ...Just am wanting to skimp a little on the cross country gear since I've just started getting a little more into that, and that way I can splurge on the downhills... My one true love. ;-)
I actually just had a friend tell me about evogear.com as well, so I'll be sure to check that out...

I'd be wary of buying boots online. Better to have a good bootfitter nearby for adjustments and also for custom footbeds. I see you're also in WA, Bothell ski and bike, Seattle Ski and Snowboard and evoSki all have clothing and early season deals going right now, and experienced staff that can help with mounting, adjustments, etc. REI also has experienced staff and they had some of last year's gear for some pretty good prices, but that won't last long. Play it again Sports has some overstocks and some new stuff, if you find good stuff their guys usually know what they are doing with the mounting, etc. For randonee gear REI may be your best bet.
For skis and bindings, I have used Al's Ski Barn (untracked.com) and also backcountry.com. They usually have good deals on overstocks as well as new stuff. You might want to consider renting or doing a demo at your local mountain and try new stuff, so you know what you're getting before you buy. Hope that helps. Happy Trails, Nate
