It started snowing early this season and didn't stop much. Resorts from California to Colorado broke their snowfall records, with Vail and Breckenridge topping out at over 500 inches (they average somewhere in the mid 300s). Mammoth saw its snowiest month ever in March, and Jackson Hole, Grand Targhee, and a handful of Utah resorts were close to record levels as well.
