For thirty six years Jack Rafferty's Thotics Inc. has been providing prescription and sports orthotics to the Aspen/Snowmass area. Thotics Inc. is a slopeside orthotic fabrication and bootfitting service operating within the Aspen Sports location on the Snowmass Mall that's focused on providing practical solutions to fit and function issues. According to Rafferty: "We cater to professional and recreational snow sport riders alike, but because we understand the importance of fit and the role it plays in ascending the learning curve, we also serve a variety of sports communities including golf, tennis, cycling, etc." Rafferty is also known for his unique cork-based custom footbeds and prescription orthotics, which are said by many to be some of the best in the business.
