While the masses congeal to the south in Little Cottonwood Canyon and to the west in Park City, Solitude offers its namesake state of being, especially if you drop into Honeycomb Canyon off the Summit double chair. Untracked fluff lingers for days on Honeycomb’s treed east flanks. On the rock-pocked west side, no fewer than 14 chutes always hide untouched powder.
