2012 Tester's Choice Skis
1 of 10
Blizzard Cochise
Never in our test’s recent history has a ski elicited such an enthusiastic consensus among testers, which is why the Cochise is Skiing’s 2012 Ski of the Year. Trenching groomers, threading tree lines, and surfing powder—the Cochise never found anything it didn’t like. But the way it smeared so smoothly through chopped pow and bony crud was its most impressive talent. Easterners might consider Blizzard’s narrower Bonafide or Bushwhacker. Everyone else, meet your new one-ski quiver.
