The single biggest problem he’s encountered in any production, Haskins says, is bad weather, from 100-year storms to unstable snow conditions, to airport closures that force his team to lose equipment to injured athletes.

“It all comes back to weather,” Haskins said. “There have been instances when the crew arrives without boots, because of flight problems, and then we have to go and find other equipment.”
