New Rossignol Hotness
The New 7 Series

January is trade show season, which means several gear companies are starting to unveil shiny new toys for Winter 2013/2014. Some of the bigger news we’ve heard so far this year is about Rossignol’s new "7 Series."

Announced today, the line will feature a slew of updated technologies, but won'tinclude—gasp—the S7, one of the best-selling skis of the past few years. That ski will be replaced by the even more all-mountain friendly Soul 7 (pictured here; 106-mm waist). We’ve already skied many of the 7 series models—albeit only on manmade snow at Vail in late November—and we dug the lowered tail rocker and the light, playful feel. It’s safe to say they rip. Here’s a rundown of the hotness for next season.
