For the second summer running, the City of Bellevue, Washington, is putting on eight outdoor movies in the Bellevue Downtown Park. The best part: everything is free. The movie, popcorn, and other vendors show up each Tuesday to provide entertainment at no expense. The movies are all rated a family-friendly PG. Movies start at dusk, which can range from 8:30 to 9:30, but visitors usually get there around 6:30 to stake out a spot—nearly 1,500 people show up each week. There’s also trivia or a scavenger hunt before each flick, where people win prizes like concert tickets or gift certificates. If you’re headed to the Seattle-area in the summer, make sure you drop by on Tuesday night through the end of August.
