As I sit here thumbing through a book that C.R. once recommended to me, I flip to this quote. I feel like he could have said these words himself. The words have truth to them, a truth that C.R. instilled in me on more than one occasion. He was with me when I got hurt last season and I don't think I could have been with anyone better. He reminded me that life is good and cheered me right up as he sang along to his mediocre guitar tune and made up a song about my knee. He made me laugh often. Being in his presence, I had to stay positive. He had overcome career-ending injuries before and surpassed all expectations by coming back with vengeance and even landing a third place finish at this year’s Redbull Linecatchers event.
