Brita Sigourney took home first for the ladies
On a cold, clear morning, Copper Mountain hoted the VISA US Halfpipe Grand Priz. Rosalind Grounewoud qualified first for the women and was sitting pretty heading into the finals. But she over-corked a hit on her second run, which bumped her into second after her first-place-earning first run.
Brita Sigourney from California put down a solid second run to lock her in first. Frenchwoman Virginie Faivre took home third for the ladies with two consisten runs.
