TELE & AT: Völkl Polar Bear

130/94/113 | $825

There wasn’t much testers didn’t like about the Slushee-colored Polar Bear. It was a favorite for its versatility in all conditions and boasted the right balance of weight, width, and stability. Plus: A hardpack performer that would have fared well in the All-Mountain category too. Minus: Your legs will feel the weight on long tours. Tester’s Take: “The Polar Bear eats up any terrain you throw at it.” —Ben Somrak
