In Deep
Grand Targhee has one high-speed quad, one fixed-grip quad and one double. But who cares? The Wyoming resort averages more than 500 inches of snow annually. In 1996, Targhee slid from the sublime to the ridiculous: it was buried under 659 inches-that's 55 feet. Targhee, in fact, guarantees its snow. If not satisfied, skiers can receive a "Snow Check," good for any other day that season. Now that's confidence.
