On Monday, December 3, Nimbus Independent, a crew consisting of Eric Pollard, Andy Mahre, Chris Benchetler, and friends, will release the third installment of their webisode series En Route. The final chapter of season five, En Route Sled BC will follow the gang into the snowmobile-accessed backcountry around Whistler Blackcomb where they experienced two weeks of near-perfect conditions for filming.

Skiing enlisted the help of photographer Alex O’Brien to capture the trip for the pages of our magazine. Here are a few sneak-peak photos from the adventure, the rest of which can be found in the December issue of Skiing, on newsstands now.
